Before Continuing with Your Online Permit Application
 
Please review and familiarize yourself with the firearm temporary import rules and regulations below. Compliance with these requirements is essential to ensure a smooth entry process:
1.All required documents must be submitted at least 30 days prior to arrival. For shorter timelines, please contact us directly for assistance.
2.A maximum of four (4) firearms or shotguns per applicant is permitted.
3.Only one firearm per calibre or gauge is allowed.

you may import up to 200 rounds of ammunition per permitted firearm or shotgun.  IMPORTANTLY to note, that if you are travelling domestically or regionally ammunition boxes may not exceed 5kg/11lb, including the box weight (ie total weight).  Ammunition MAY NOT be packed inside your rifle case, it must be stored in a lockable ammunition container (metal or plastic) and placed inside your checked luggage.

6.Ammunition for firearms not accompanying you is prohibited.
7.All firearms must display a manufacturer’s serial number or other identifying mark.
8.The identification number must be permanently stamped on the barrel, frame, or receiver.
9.Automatic or semi-automatic rifles may not be imported for sport or hunting purposes.
10.Handguns for self-defence are not permitted.
11.USA travellers: A stamped Customs Form 4457 is required and must be dated within the same year as your hunt. Firearms must be presented at a US Customs office for issuance, signature, date, and stamp.
 
Permit Fee: USD 150 / EUR 150 per permit.
 
This fee includes assistance for one international arrival and one departure only. For any additional Domestic/regional check-in or arrival assistance, and extra USD 50 / EUR 50 per service will apply.
